So, for those of you who haven’t been keeping up recently, the NWD gang have been running our egg-citing giant Easter Egg competition for just under a month now, and we finally have a winner!
The Competition
As we told you in our blog post at the beginning of March – which you can read here in case you missed it – we’ve been running a very special Easter competition for the last month. Up for grabs was this awesome chocolatey giant Easter egg, inscribed with a special Happy Easter message from all of us at North West Digital;
All anyone had to do to enter the competition was sign up for our email newsletter. No catch; it really was that simple.
Unfortunately, if we’re being perfectly honest, then we have to admit that take up of the offer was a little slow to begin with; you’re a cynical bunch, that’s for sure! However, after a bit of coaxing and a lot of persuasion through our social media channels, we eventually managed to get things going and, in the end, quite a lot of people threw their name (or email address) into the hat.
The Big Draw
And so, after running on for just over 3 weeks, entries to this egg-celent competition were closed at tea time on Friday 31st March 2017, and all the participants were verified over the weekend. Then, on Monday 3rd April 2017, the big prize draw took place at our Stockport offices with great pomp and circumstance (well, we all had a brew at the time!), and the winner was drawn at random from all the entries.
And The Winner Is…
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…the winner of North West Digital’s giant chocolate Easter egg is (drum roll please)…the Hale branch of Manchester based Estate Agent, Jordan Fishwick!
Congratulations to the winners from all of us at North West Digital. We’re not sure whether they’ll choose to nominate one lucky recipient to take the egg home with them or just smash it to pieces in the office for everyone to dip in, but either way we hope they enjoy it to the point where they never want to see another chocolate egg again before next Easter!
To round everything off nicely, today, Tuesday 4th April 2017, North West Digital’s esteemed leader, Dave Thurston, went down to the Jordan Fishwick’s office in Hale, Manchester, to present the egg to the lucky recipients, and Dave Smith and Harry Pearson (above) were on hand to receive their winnings. Make sure you share it boys!

But of course, whilst we’re massively chuffed for the winners, we also commiserate with all those who took the time to enter the competition but didn’t win. Don’t worry, you still get to benefit from the fact that you are now a fully signed up member of the NWD Email Newsletter, so there’s loads of good stuff in store for you through that. It’s almost as egg-ceptionally rewarding as receiving a giant chocolate egg!
Nevertheless, thank you very much to everyone who took the time to enter the competition, we’re eternally grateful to all of you, and we genuinely hope that you’ll stay with us now that you’ve signed up.
